I am writing this letter of recommendation for Ryan Steineckert. I worked with Ryan at Cook Brothers Broadcasting in Wyoming for six months. This was my first job out of college. Ryan taught me what it takes to be professional, hard working, respectful and dedicated. I’ve worked with many people, and their aren’t any I would suggest work more diligently than Ryan does.
During our time together at Cook Brothers Broadcasting, Ryan and I were the sports directors for individual schools, as we called football, volleyball and baseball. I came in to the job with one other individual, not knowing how this company set up their broadcasts or what equipment they used. Ryan was patient enough to work with and teach us everything we needed to know, on top of getting his excessive amount of work done. One thing that really has stuck out to me is how patient, understanding and humble Ryan is. You never have to worry about Ryan boasting about how good he is at his job. Also, he’s a fun guy to work with. No matter how busy or stressed Ryan is on that particular day, he still comes in with a smile on and is a great person to be around. I never once felt hesitation in asking him for help and I believe that is one of the most undervalued characteristics in a person today. Ryan is a fantastic individual to hire because he works until his task is complete, and then continues working on how he can improve. Ryan is tremendous to be around and has all the qualities of someone ready to step in and do whatever you ask. I recommend hiring Ryan for any job because I know that he is a person you can trust and always get a maximum effort from. If you have any questions, please contact me and I will be sure to help out in any way possible regarding Ryan Steineckert. Steiny is a rare 5-tool player.
Performance: a multi-state award-winning play-by-play man. Professionalism: the steadiest, most reliable colleague in my two decades in radio. Persistence: an Eagle Scout! Production: a maestro with audio and video. Personality: a sociable, even-keeled presence who picks everyone up. Ryan Steineckert is an excellent choice for sports information directors, PDs and station owners looking to upgrade both product and personnel. 678-910-4735 Voice@APHarreld.com Ryan has the ability to multi-task without short-changing any area to which his attention is needed. Ryan is talented in sports observation and description and his contribution to KSUU was ground-breaking.
Regardless of the position Ryan is seeking, you will find him to possess strong moral character, a strong work ethic, and leadership skills that will serve you well. 435-592-3098 rollins@suu.edu |

To whom it may concern:
I had the privilege of working with Ryan Steineckert while coaching the Evanston Outlaws Baseball team. I found Ryan to be outstanding as a broadcaster. With each air time of our games, he was excellent. He had a very good understanding of baseball and presented noteworthy details, which made me want to listen. He habitually takes time to learn each player's name, number, position(s), interests, etc. I have found Ryan to truthfully and accurately report all aspects of the game. Because of his voice and presentation, the broadcasts are both professional and enjoyable for the listener. The growing, local fan base of Outlaw's Baseball is due, in no small part, to Steiny bringing his best- game after game. I cannot thank him enough for what he's done for Evanston baseball. The experience I have had with Ryan has been very professional. Although being a fan and supporter of Rebel sports, Ryan is very knowledgeable of the opposing teams and treats us with the utmost of respect.
Ryan is one of the few broadcasters who prepares for his questions for an interview, and you feel like has a knowledge of the game. |
